Grapevine Vintage Railroad 2021: Cotton Belt Route to Historic Stockyards Station in Fort Worth

Step back in time with a nostalgic ride on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad! Six mid-1920s coaches are pulled by one of four GVRR locomotives: “Vinny”, a 1953 GP-7 diesel locomotive, two 1958 FL9 diesel locomotives, and “Puffy”, the only 19th century operational steam locomotive in Texas. The Grapevine Vintage Railroad operates most weekends throughout the year, traveling along the Cotton Belt Route from Grapevine’s Historic Cotton Belt Depot to the Stockyard Station in Fort Worth. Guests will have approximately 90 minutes to explore the Stockyards before the return trip to Grapevine. During the leisurely 21-mile journey, you’ll experience the Great Train Heist, so keep an eye out for greedy outlaws! Join in the fun and help railroad detectives solve the mystery of who robbed the Grapevine Vintage Railroad.
