#iGiveCatholic Giving Day

*The event has already taken place on this date: Tue, 11/30/2021
#iGiveCatholic inspires faithful stewards to "Give Catholic" on #GivingTuesday, a global day of generosity and kindness. The mission of #iGiveCatholic is to unite Catholic communities and donors throughout the country to give back in support of the organizations that have always been there for them…Our parishes, schools, and ministries.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

St. John the Apostle Catholic School opened in 1965. The first classes were held in a temporary building. We have come a long way thanks to the support of our community.

The way our campus was built ensures students spend time outdoors. All classrooms lead to the outdoors, which we have embraced by enhancing the students learning experience with two greenhouses, a rain barrel, two garden beds, a compost pile, a worm farm, three chickens, and two pigmy goats.

We are proud to have families with diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, diverse income levels, and diverse faiths. We are also proud to have a team of teachers and staff dedicated and invested in our students' education. We are a group of caring, experienced professionals who care for their students' development.

SJS believes that all children are unique creations of God and possess a special potential for reflecting His glory. Together with the families, the teachers and staff encourage the child's full potential, in a learning environment that reflects Catholic principles and values, realistic goals, and a rigorous curriculum to prepare them for their future.

We offer tuition assistance to make Catholic education affordable. This year alone, we have granted $320,000 in tuition assistance. Our income is used to pay for teachers/staff salaries, utilities, maintenance, repairs, books, etc. Please help us match the $320,000 we have given out this year to enable us to offer Catholic education in the classical tradition while preparing more minds for a lifetime and souls for eternal life.#iGiveCatholic Day
