Kayaking 101-First Come, First Serve- Cedar Hill State Park

Join a park ranger to learn kayaking basics on Joe Pool Lake! Park rangers will provide equipment and instructions.

Program is weather-dependent.
Please meet us at the South Boat Ramp.
Dress for the weather and plan to get wet; old sneakers or closed-toe water shoes are recommended. Please bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Phones, cameras, and other valuables are not recommended on the water.
All ages are welcome but children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult on a tandem kayak. Single and tandem kayaks available.
Space is limited and spots are available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis.
