African American Quilt Tiles - East Regional
Join us as we learn about the history of African American quilting and make a quilt design of your own on a wooden tile.
Quilting culture in the 18th and 19th century was about telling stories, giving viewers valuable history lessons while also representing better days ahead. They are symbols of culture, community, and freedom.
As part of the cultural fiber of Fort Worth, your library creates spaces and opportunities for conversations and exploration. We created this cultural program specifically for children and their caregivers.
