Arlington Museum of Art Storytime

Bring your little ones to the AMA series, Storytime. Usually held every other Wednesday at the Arlington Museum of Art, Storytime is a celebration of books, art, movement, imagination, and smiles. Admission and parking are free. We’ll begin Storytime with a book read theatrically by a member of the community or a Children’s Librarian from the Arlington Public Library. Sometimes we’ll even treat you to a puppet show! Then you and your child will participate in an art activity related to the story. Storytime is a great way for children to enjoy reading with you and other children their age. It also teaches children how to transform their listening skills into tactile skills by creating an original piece of art. Storytime events are held either in the HELP Center Gallery, Traditional Gallery, or Boardroom. When you arrive at the museum, please check in at the front desk.
