Ballet North Texas Ballet Story Time at the Library: "Don Quixote"

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
BNT's Ballet Story Time at Audelia Branch Library will lead you on an adventure into the world of Don Quixote, a kind-hearted knight in not-so-shining armor, who embarks on a mission to revive the virtues of the knights of olde. Enjoy a reading from Don Quixote The Man of La Mancha, re-written for young audience members, and experience all the thrills, laughs, and magic of the tale of Don Quixote!
BNT's Ballet Story Time will consist of a reading from the book, a hands-on look at props, shoes, costumes, and more from our production of Don Quixote, a lesson in pantomime (the sign language of ballet), and a fully-costumed showing of select dances from the full-length ballet, performed by Ballet North Texas Company Artists and Trainees. After the performance, everyone is invited to participate in a Q&A session in which our dancers will happily answer any and all questions that our young patrons may have. Photos and videos are encouraged, and patrons are more than welcome to pose for photographs with our dancers.
Dates: March 11th @ 10:30am & March 14th 2:00pm
