Cowtown Goes Green

The Fort Worth Stockyards will host Cowtown Goes Green, the city’s largest and most family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day celebration.


The event in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District will feature free activities for kids including face painting, cow camp, live music, gunfights, and more.We also feature a Western/Irish themed Cowtown Goes Green parade that follows the 4pm cattle drive. All activities are free of charge and are open to the public.

11:30 am – Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive

11:45 am – Legends of Texas Gunfight Show inside Stockyards Station

12 pm – 3 pm 5 Second Rule Celtic Band Live

12 pm – 4 pm Dummy Roping, Stick Horse Barrel Racing, Irish Dancers, Face Painting, Sponsor Activations

1:30 pm – 2:30 pm – Fort Worth Herd Cow Camp

2:30 pm – Pawnee Bills Wild West Show – Buy Tickets

1 pm – 4 pm – Live Music inside Stockyards Station

3 pm – 4 pm – Cowtown Opry Live

4 pm – Cowtown Goes Green Parade feat. Tracy Lawrence as the Grand Marshall
