Independence Day Parade in Midlothian

Parade Parking Information
There are adjacent lots off 14th Street and Hawkins Run, as well as at the Kroger Shopping Center. According to Midlothian PD, at 9 a.m., paradegoers will be allowed to park in the outside lane (right lane) of southbound S. 14th Street along the parade route. The inside lane (left lane) must remain unobstructed for vehicle traffic. Additionally, no vehicles will be allowed to park along the northbound lanes of S. 14th Street. At 9:55 a.m. S. 14th Street will be closed to all traffic. Parade observers are asked to proceed back to their cars as soon as the last parade entry has passed their vantage point, so the PD can open the roadway as quickly and safely as possible. Until the roadway is completely open, drive south on 14th Street to Ashford Lane to exit the parade route. PLEASE DO NOT LINGER ON THE STREETS AFTER THE PARADE.
