Maker Camp at Alight Learning Community
Maker Camp is a hands-on summer experience designed for children who love to create, build, explore, and learn by doing.
Campers choose from a variety of creative and practical tracks, including sewing, baking, robotics, theater, music, entrepreneurship, and other maker-focused activities. Throughout the week, students will design projects, develop new skills, collaborate with friends, and discover the satisfaction of creating something with their own hands.
More than just a camp, Maker Camp encourages curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and confidence. Whether a child is sewing their first project, performing on stage, building a robot, baking homemade treats, or developing products for our Maker Market, every camper has the opportunity to explore their interests and experience the joy of meaningful work.
Our goal is simple: give children the kind of childhood many of us remember—filled with creativity, adventure, friendships, and opportunities to make, build, and discover what they're capable of.
Ages: 6–18
Location: Arlington, TX
Activities may include: Sewing, baking, robotics, theater, music, entrepreneurship, arts and crafts, engineering challenges, classic camp games, outdoor activities, and collaborative projects.
