Park Glen Neighborhood Association Turkey Trot

Join us for this annual event!
Both courses of the Turkey Trot will be run on paved park paths and residential streets, beginning and ending at Alliance United Methodist Church – 7904 Park Vista Blvd; Fort Worth 76137. Course maps are available at www.ParkGlen.org.

The Courses
- Both courses of the Turkey Trot will be run on paved park paths and residential streets, beginning and ending at Alliance United Methodist Church at 7904 Park Vista Blvd; Fort Worth 76137. Course maps are available: 5K and 2K
- The 5K Race/Run/Walk (approximately 3.11 miles) will be run on a certified course and officially timed, so runners with strollers, baby joggers, or pets will be asked to start at the back of the pack. One water station will be available approximately halfway through the course. The course has an elevation span of approximately 64 feet.
- The 2K Fun Run/Walk (approximately 1.24 miles) will not be timed or certified, so walkers, runners, strollers, and pets are welcome. Course elevation spans approximately 36 feet.
- No skates, skateboards, etc. are allowed.
Awards - 5K Race/Run/Walk
- Overall Male and Female Champions ($100 prize to each)
- Masters (Age 40+) Male and Female Champions
- Grand Masters (Age 50+) Male and Female Champions
- Top 3 Male & Female Finishers in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 64, 65-69, 70 & up. Overall, winners will be excluded from the age group rankings.
- 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place Teams, based on the top 4 finishers on the team. 1st place team shares a $100 prize!
- All children 12 & under finishing the 5K will receive a participant medal!

AWARDS- TEAM
Largest Teams, one award for the largest team from our local schools and an award for largest team of family/friends. (Individual team members do not have to be in the same race).
Registration Fees
- Register early to save money, guarantee your shirt and/or size, & pick up your Bib, shirt, and bag!

Individual: $31 on or before November 10, $36 for Late Registration from November 11 through 6 pm on November 26,$41 for Race Day Registration.

Team/Family of 4 or more: $26 per person on or before Nov 10, $31 from November 11 through 6 pm on November 26. No Team/Family Registration on Race Day.
- We will order extra shirts for registrations after November 10, but please order early to guarantee your shirt and/or size.
- This event will occur rain or shine. In extreme circumstances, the event may be canceled, delayed, or changed to a non-timed race. No refunds will be issued.

- Raceday Registration: 6:30 am – 7:30 am (Cash and Checks only)
- Late Pick-Up of Bibs, Shirts, and Runner Bags: 6:30 am – 7:30 am
- 2K Fun Run/Walk Start: 7:30 am
- 5k Race/Run/Walk Start: 8 am
- Post-Race Activities: Refreshments will be provided for race participants. prize drawings (must be present to win). Visit the booths of our local business sponsors.
- Door Prizes and Awards: 9:00 am – 10:00 am
