Teen's Workshops at Sid Richardson Museum

Teen's Workshops are specially designed to engage teenagers ages 14-17 who are interested in art history and art making.

Workshops include spending time with the collection and exhibits to learn about a specific aspect of art or history as well as hands-on activities in our studio classroom targeting a variety of media and artistic skills such as drawing, painting and printmaking. All Teen's Workshops require advance registration.
Let's Make Memes!
- Next: April 27, 2019 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
Using artworks from our permanent collection and our special exhibition, Another Frontier: Frederic Remington’s East, we’ll create “captions” to describe and enhance the scene. Then, participants will have the opportunity to create their own narrative painting with a caption. A light snack will be provided.
