Ready Set Debate

Ready Set Debate is part of the Speakers League company, offering speech and debate clubs and curricula. We began developing the Ready Set Debate materials in 2014, trying to find ways to make debate concepts simpler to understand, and more efficient to teach. Rather than focus on a single format of debate, we took the main concepts of a debate – case, cross-examination, rebuttal, and summary (found in every debate format), and distilled the teaching of these concepts into our own format, with smart and simple steps that can transfer to any debate format you encounter. Whether a student of our program is in 5th grade or in a college program, our methods produce superior debating results.
